Shoes to go with M&S jeggings

So I've started the wardrobe revamp with three pairs of M&S jeggings, they looked really good on me (as someone who Never EVER thought skinnies would be an option!!!) so I've ordered them in black, mid blue and camel (does that sound okay???? I'm so insecure over clothes!!)

Thinking about new shoes, are the Newlook ballet pumps any good? They are pretty cheap, is it a case of you get what you pay for or can anyone recommend them as lasting a few seasons?

Newlook Ballet Pumps

I'm not sure about the brogues that were recommended on an earlier post, to wear with skinnies? I'll get them and get used to them if they are considered stylish and the right thing to wear with the jeggings (currently scuffling around in super comfy ballet pumps and wear sketchers for school run, must try harder!!)

Ballet pumps or ankle boots for me

I wear mine with ballet pumps, flip flops, sandals and converse. Probably will move to ankle boots too as it gets colder.

There's another post on what shoes to wear with skinnies. Really glad you've found that they look good on you!

Personally I'd avoid camel as a) light colours make legs look bigger and b) it can look from a distance as if you aren't wearing any trousers as they sort of 'disappear.'

I find court or stilettos with a small heel suit me in skinnies, but I have fairly short legs (30inch).

Brogues and skinnies not good with short legs.

I have the New Look ballet pumps, they are not brilliant quality but then they are cheap and not made of leather. I find in hot weather they "stick" to my feet and feel awful (probably becaue they're not leather) but otherwise wear them all the time. I have a pair in nude and in black and have had them about six months but the black ones that I wear most are almost through at the toes from scuffing them.

With the black jeggings (Gosh, I hate that word!) I often wear leopard print ballet shoes from Clarks. They were pretty cheap and I really like them because they have the 'pony hair' type fabric (????), rather than just patterned leather.

remus snap, that's what I'm wearing today!
