I know I should have started this sooner...but have sort of let body "go" since splitting from dh..

Mama Mio's Omega Body Scrub is the best IMO, closely followed by The Santuary's Salt scrub (also sold in handy sachets to take on hols). I only exfoliate twice a week but dry body brush daily. Have been doing the body brushing for a month now and first noticed a huge reduction in cellulite etc after a week.

OH thank you ...is the santuary the Boots make ...I only have a Boots or S/drug locally.

What is a dry body brush [embarressed] ?Is it a mitt or loofer thing ??

Sanctuary products are sold in Boots (not sure about Superdrug).

Example of body brush here . I have this one and have also owned Elemis ones in the past but there is no difference IMO except price :)

You brush the skin firmly (but not so hard to leave marks!) from the ankles upwards in long, sweeping strokes. I generally do ankle to knee, knee to thigh and then hips & bottom. It helps remove dead skin cells which can make the skin appear dull. It also helps stimulate circulation and aids cellulite management. I'm not convinced it will totally eradicate it but the fact that the lymph is more mobile means the skin appears smoother and less dimpled. Your lymphatic system needs all the help it can get since it's only "pump mechanism" is your movement.

I have used Sanctuary Salt Scrub (in a jar) .It smells heavenly but it leaves a 'film' on your skin. It feels moisturised but a bit eurgh.
And it leaves the bath filthy Grin

Off to Boots tomorow !! Whats the S body cream like ...ok for holiday or should I get "proper "after sun ".....
Not planning on doing proper sunbathing with just coconut oil so hopefully will be just weather worn not burnt !!

The moisturiser contains ginger so I wouldn't want to put it on after sun exposure. Worth getting an after sun - Boots Soltan ones are good as are Nivea.

OK ..going with 3 ds's 11/9/7/ so proper A/Sun it is then !! OR I read some where aloe vere gel (might have used this once in my life BC)

Can't be sticky as I am talking about ds's here who have been totally shocked when i said it would be a shower every evening defore dinner !

IME the aloe gels do tend to be sticky but then most after sun is to an extent. We get DCs in shower ASAP after returning from beach, slather them in after sun and then let them play until it is dry enough to get dressed without too much yuck factor for them :).
