I am resolutely ignoring the increasingly frequent rain showers and dressing for summer.

Navy silk hitched dress (an Italian brand from local boutique)
Navy knee length leggings (Zara)
Bronze leather sandals (Top Shop)

Silver and rose gold bracelets

Scaggy New Look leggings and a top from TopShop that I am reliably informed makes me look like a Fruit Salad chewwy sweet.

In my defence I've just taken down a tent, cleaned the washing machine and tackled the mountain of junk that is the back porch

I'm working so today it is:

Black high-waisted pencil skirt with a raspberry coloured vest/t-shirt tucked in. Skinny belt around the middle.

I've got a beige blazer and converse to add for home time

Ujjayi that sounds lovely.

I have recently dyed my hair Jet Black and loving it so am currently working the blacks in my wardrobe..

Thank you Frankie. Just wondering : is sumptuous purple the name of the shade of purple or the brand name of skirt?

I have just rediscovered black having not worn it for years - navy or dark brown suit my skin tone better - but now I don't care!

Oh, it is the description of the Purple, it is a real royal, rich deep colour, I love it!

I looked like a slightly less attractive, somewhat inflated Noomi Rapace as Lisbeth Salander yesterday..

And someone called me a 'girl' (I am 43 soon)

Bonsoir can we have a link to the brocade trousers? It sounds like something I should covet but also something that perhaps anyone other than the ultra-slim of thigh should be wary of?

They are the Marni @ H&M brocade trousers from last Spring. You can see them on , as well as the brown/white silk top and the white flower necklace.
