Anyone want to help me find a stylish but practical raincoat?

I'm after something for a UK holiday next week as no doubt I will need it! I've got a decent fleece-lined Seasalt one but could do with something that's easier to take on and off which can be chucked into a bag when the sun comes out (hopefully).

I don't really want to go down the sensible/outdoorsy/camping type route (although I did see a niceish plain black Trespass one in TKMaxx yesterday but it was too big), would prefer something a bit more stylish but not too smart. I suppose something like a summer version of the Merrel Wakefield would be good.

Any ideas?

That's a bit jollier than I was hoping for but it's a good price for a Peter Storm :)

A new Seasalt mac?

There are some slightly more subdued Peter Storms on offer on the Blacks and Millets sites as well, I've been looking today for something to avoid being drenched to the skin on days out when it's too warm to wear my Land's End 'proper' raincoat.

I'll have a look on Blacks and Millets but I was thinking more of 'proper' shops rather than the outdoorsy places. Anyone seen anything that might do?

It actually looks a lot better in real life, the website makes it look more busy then it is.

Look up target dry - I have just had a versailles mac delivered and really like it -they are a bit cheaper if youngest them from the www.waterproofclothingstore.com

Sorry the link is: www.thewaterproofclothingstore.com :)

Just realised you need it for your howl next week - they deliver in 2-3 days and also have stockists you can buy from.

Hol not hol my keyboards too sensitive! :)

I will be howling if it rains but fingers crossed I think the weather might be improving. Still going to buy a raincoat though, that's guaranteed to make the sun come out! Will have a look at that site, thanks.

Just found some waterproof jackets meant for horse riding etc, look ok though not the same as all the hiker style ones.
