Depends what you wear with. Please don't wear tucked into jeans thats so dated now. Fine with skirts and dresses though

Charliefox · 05/08/2012 13:05

Yeah, really dated. Looks terrible here. Wouldn't want to look like this AT ALL! www.vstyleblog.com/my_weblog/2009/10/stiruppz-create-kate-moss-jeans-in-boots-look.html

c4rnsi1lke · 05/08/2012 13:37

was thinking of with dresses for work mainly....I will need other boots for jeans then!

I am searching like mad...but terrified of mum boots.

Vicky08 · 05/08/2012 14:11

I like those boots and I think the jeans tucked into boots look like the Kate Moss link Charliefox gave is very stylish ad fashionable. I also like wearing long boots with dresses and skirts like <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.es/imgres?um=1&hl=es&sa=N&biw=1024&bih=506&tbm=isch&tbnid=HJ6gDXTAAl3LDM:&imgrefurl=goop.com/journal/get/3/my-uniform&docid=aY-FzRY6TO-3lM&imgurl=assets.goop.com/3/sweater_dress_boots.jpg&w=550&h=500&ei=CHAeUL-MPIOU0QXR4oDoCg&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=746&vpy=33&dur=41&hovh=214&hovw=235&tx=150&ty=78&sig=114413497939204179243&page=1&tbnh=151&tbnw=163&start=0&ndsp=12&ved=1t:429,r:5,s:0,i:88" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">This as long as the dress/skirt isn't too long, knee length or above.

LesleyPumpshaft · 05/08/2012 14:15

I think the boots are lovely Smile

perplexedpirate · 05/08/2012 15:16

Very nice. I have surprised myself by liking the taupe version.

c4rnsi1lke · 05/08/2012 15:41

yes I liked the look of the taupe as well....

skinny jeans and long boots is now dated ? oh dear , i cant keep up! i was hoping my ones from last year would still be good...

Drywhiteplease · 05/08/2012 19:40

Hurray! God I love s and b, keeping me up to date! Never really liked tucking my jeans into my boots, always felt a bit Prince charming"!
This winter I'm going to try an Acne look a like to go with skinny/straight.
With baby boot cut will wear my lovely platform high heeled ankle boots.
And with skirts knee boots....

Chrestomanci · 05/08/2012 20:29

Love the boots, but don't feel qualified to weigh in on the tucking in jeans quandry...

c4rnsi1lke · 05/08/2012 20:49

right I have ordered the taupe.
may make do with my old fly boots with jeans again this year.

Pray tell then, which boots we are supposed to wear with jeans and how we are supposed to wear them?

Ameliagrey · 05/08/2012 21:39

Shouldn't it be jeans tucked into boots- not boots tucked into jeans Confused?

Drywhiteplease · 05/08/2012 22:38

c4 did you use code TKNS? 15% off with free deliv and returns?sorry I'm late.if not maybe you can cancell order and try it. It worked today at 4pm but Boden change them quickly. good luck. Meant to say I really like the boots.
X

Drywhiteplease · 05/08/2012 22:39

Oops meant cancel

ihatethecold · 05/08/2012 22:50

They are lovely. Don't listen to anyone who says you can't tuck jeans into themGrin

justasecond · 05/08/2012 22:54

Amelia - yes that would look a little odd Blush
An Acne look alike would work well with skinny jeans. I just got these from TS and had a similar pair last winter
ts boots
There are bound to be lots of this type of boot on the high st this a/w though. I would ideally like a better quality pair in softer leather so am waiting for the winter stuff to come in stores.

c4rnsi1lke · 05/08/2012 23:17

thanks drywhite - yes I used that code - I saw it on another thread. I always try to use a code so that I don't have to pay for return postage. Probably wouldn't buy so much bioden if I had to pay for p&p!

c4rnsi1lke · 05/08/2012 23:19

I'm very happy that other people like them as well. Smile
