I moved away from the website before I got to the Geri collection

Like the mac witch but a quick whizz around the site still depressed me. A lot of it looks frumpy and a lot of it just horrid. I'm 51 and can't see anything much that I like. DD is 27 and she used to get work stuff from Next but she has given up on them too.

i really liked the look of that coat aswell but the reviews say the sleeves are too long . i usually need petite sizes so no good for me .

Yeh on second look, not much I'd actually buy. But I do like the mac, and maybe they are improving a bit. I'm 42. For years they've been doing scruffy shapeless things. Off the shoulder tops and the like. eeeoooow.

Reviews you say?! oh that is interesting. The reviews aren't linked into the Irish site, so that's a tiip off. Thanks, if I want to see reviews I have to go and look at the uK site. They should make the reviews visible on the Irish site too! Argos.ie do the same.

I know that Next always takes a battering here on MN. To some extent I agree. But I think if you pick through the crap there are still some decent pieces. I am petite and their petite range fits well though they need to watch their sizing as I am now wearing a lot of their stuff in a 6 and I am definitely not a 6! Vanity sizing!! And I still get quite a bit for DC who are 7 and 9 from there through the Directory.
