please talk to me about winter shoes...

I am in the dark about what winter shoes I can be planning.

I don't like brogue style on ladies (personal choice)

to go with trousers, skirts etc, not sandals, not boots, not high heels.

what options do I have??

I am eyeballing these babies.
Already have suede brogues from Boden but these may need to be purchased as well.

Oops, notice you don't like brogues..
Flat options include loafers this a/w such as these M&S.
Or there is the 'posh slippers' look such as New Look.
Or you could just stick to ballerinas.
Don't do heels so can't advice on those.

the thing is, I have gone into boots each winter, boots with jeans, boots with skirts, am just a bit bored of boots.

However, in miserable weather all my lovely ballet pumps and sandals don't do the job.

knee high bitch boots
chunky boots,
ugg(ly) type boots (celts)

just wondered if there was a secret that everyone else knew about shoes that I didn't...

I bought flat over the knee boots last winter which I really enjoyed wearing. I don't think they made me look like a pantomime villain or a prostitute...
