I like j crew and great plains for t shirts.

KandyBarr · 03/08/2012 07:38

Bought some in good quality cotton in the Me & Em sale last week www.meandem.com/sale/summer-sale/cPath/522_525_660

H and M......replace every season.

BikeRaceRunningRaceNoSkiing · 03/08/2012 07:53

Usually Boden, they are long and they do scoop necks. Wash well too.
But I noticed some scoop necks on the South website which are half the price and lovely colours and reviews say they sew long. £12.
Got some in Brora sale earlier this year. Utter rubbish, thin, flimsy fabric., look worse every time I wash them. I only kept them because they were only £5. Would have been very miffed if I'd paid the full price of £40.

PetiteMum · 03/08/2012 13:03

Please can I havea link to the south website? Can't find it...

I find Gap good for decent quality basics.

MrsJohnDeere · 03/08/2012 15:36

Boden and Kew.

Have had Gap and M&S in the past but they lost their shape and colour after a few washes. False economy.

rococopops · 03/08/2012 16:22

uniqlo

TreacleSoda · 03/08/2012 17:57

Vero Moda do fantastic T-shirts, they are some of the only ones I have found that are nice and long in the body.

BikeRaceRunningRaceNoSkiing · 03/08/2012 18:31

petitemum South are a range that Littlewoods sell online.

RedwingS · 03/08/2012 18:45

I used to like j crew but two t-shirts I bought this summer have developed holes after only being worn once or twice.

lurkingaround · 03/08/2012 18:46

Another vote for H&M. Every size every shape every colour.

lurkingaround · 03/08/2012 18:48

Or Zara. Really like their camis (camies? I mean camisoles). They do their linen Tees, also v handy. Watch the sizes.

AmberNectarine · 03/08/2012 18:48

American Vintage, Splendid or Vince. £££ but great quality. Also rate some COS basics, but others have worn terribly.

AmberNectarine · 03/08/2012 18:49

But you cannot beat the H&M £3.99 long strappy vests.

DonaAna · 03/08/2012 19:47

Amber have 3 of them being delivered as we speak after 3 weeks waiting grrr

ebaymad · 03/08/2012 20:43

I second Gap, but you need to go in the shop and feel the material.
