Shoes to go with dress for a wedding

I am going to a wedding Aug bank holiday. I have bought this dress to wear.

It is actually more peachy in colour than in this picture. But what shoes do I wear?! I like a proper stiletto rather than a strappy sandal, and I'll be carrying a 20month old for parts of the day too. Im a bit stumped re: colour etc.
