Do M&S jeggings loosen up?

Big thank you to whoever suggested these. They arrived today and I'm over the moon that I don't look a twat in them.

I'm a size 14-16 and ordered both sizes. Don't know which to keep as both fit. Do they loosen up? If they do, the 16 will be too big and slip down ike most of my jeans). The 14 are a little snug but I hope don't look too tight.

Thanks.

Whats so good about them?

ineedsomepeaceandquiet · 02/08/2012 20:31

Was looking at these yesterday. Are they a good fit?

fairlytiredallthetime · 02/08/2012 20:32

I bought a pair of size 14 yesterday which is my normal size. They felt a little snug around the waist when I first put them on but having worn them all day they have definitely loosened up so stick with the size 14's for sure.

HexGirl · 02/08/2012 20:32

They are good quality, v comfy and wash up really well but they do have a decent amount of give so definitely go with the smaller size.

WinBags · 02/08/2012 20:35

Well, they don't make me look like I've got carrots for legs. They are higher waisted so hide my mummy tummy.

I can't remember who it was that suggested them. They are the £22.50, so cheap too. They are skinny jeans really-not the 'normal' jegging type thingies. I'm new to skinny jeans. But after reading all your thoughts on boot cut, I felt I should give them a try.

I will need to return one of them, so I was hoping that someone would have a pair and would let me know if they get looser like most jeans do.

X-posted.

Thanks, ladies.

Having the smaller size will give me self esteem boost too Grin

I think it was me :)
Definitely size down. Glad you like them, I've got 4 pairs....

MrsRogerSterling · 02/08/2012 20:37

Can you link please?

LexieSinclair · 02/08/2012 20:50

I've got them too. They do loosen up round the waist and go a bit saggy round the crotch area.Grin But they are still the best fitting skinnies I've had in ages.

Virgil · 02/08/2012 20:51

Definitely keep the smaller size, I'm
Forever hoiking mine up

doorbellringer · 02/08/2012 21:09

Are they in store or only available online?

WinBags · 02/08/2012 21:31

I've got the smaller size on now to 'see how they feel'. Thanks for your help.

Doorbell-I think on another thread someone got them in the store.

Miffed they are cheaper now though. I ordered two pairs and got free delivery as over £30.

winbags can I ask which pair you got? Some of them seem to have buttons at the waist, I need a pair with fully elasticated waistline damn you DSs

Jennyrosity · 02/08/2012 21:38

I live in mine since having DD. So much comfier than regular jeans but look just as good.

Definitely stick with the 14, I've just had to buy a new pair as my size 16s ones are too loose round the waist - and I doubt I've lost weight!

hidesgoldmedalsinthesofa · 02/08/2012 21:42

Another question, what length tops can you wear with them? I wear leggings a lot but only with long tops and to wear short tops I have these stretchy skirts from H&M to cover bummage - jeggings seem like my answer but being blessed with thunder thighs I don't want to look daft! Though I suppose its better than wearing my jeans and constantly having to hoik them up!

Muststudy · 02/08/2012 23:06

Damn those thunder thighs!!

hadagutsfull · 02/08/2012 23:25

WinBag So glad you posted this - I also read the other thread, ordered some on the strength of it, and picked them up today! Am really pleased with them but only tried on the bigger pair so far. They seemed to fit well so I haven't tried the smaller ones but will do so tomorrow & if I can get into them I'll keep them in view of the answers you've received.

I've tried a few pairs of skinnies but they really didn't suit me. Not sure what it is about these but I'm hooked Grin

NewChoos Thank you - will definitely be going back for other colours!

NewChoos · 04/08/2012 12:48

I'm hoping for some darker colours for Autumn :)
