Hunter millbank, yay or nay?

I love wearing converse and casual sneaker-type shoes, however they are not ideal for rainy days. My quest for attractive, casual, waterproof shoes has gone on for some years. Have I stumbled upon the answer? These claim to be as waterproof as wellies. Has anyone tried them? I don't know about the big hunter sign across the laces, is it naff?

Like the idea but all I can think is sweaty!!

They look ok and you can barely see the Hunter logo under the laces but it would depend on how rubbery they look in real life. I couldn't see where they say they are waterproof?

They look like Barbie/Bratz baseball shoes. A big lump of plastic. Think wellies would be more stylish. Sorry.

Skandi1 Yes, My biggest worry is about sweaty feet...

Dexter No, now that u mention it I can't find the actual word waterproof on the page. Suppose I hoped they were as they are made of the same material as the welly and marketed as such. Have I been fooled?

Loveleopardprint (so do I!) id have to disagree there Grin. I think very few people can carry off wellies and they don't go with every outfit. They are practical, yes, but I'm looking for more than that.

All waterproof shoe suggestions welcome!
