Should I stay or should I go? Clinique or alternative foundation?

Ok I have always used Clinique for foundation, super fit and nowadays even better but even though they are meant to be long lasting they always feel a bit shiny .... Any other recommendations off good coverage long lasting everyday foundation?

Also how do you clean your foundation brush? Mine always feel horrible after cleaning, flat and greasy no matter how I try it?

I don't get on with Clinique foundation at all, Bare minerals all the way from me.

I rarely wash my brushes, they work much better when they are a bit manky Grin

I use Clinique

Repairwear anti aging make up foundation.

I apply with sponge or fingers, i think it's great.

I Bare Minerals one too and use a brush if i use that one, i have never washed the brush!!

OP mac sell makeup brush cleaner. Why not ask for samples from other branches. You can buy little tester pots in Savers really cheaply

Wash brushes with baby shampoo. Do mine once a week, can't stand it manky!

Re foundation I always recommend Revlon color stay on here. I think it would met your requirements re coverage and longevity.

If you don't need to have a liquid foundation, have you thought about mineral powder foundation? I swear by Bare Minerals powder foundation, which is quick to apply, allows skin to breathe, and soon perks skin up! It's not cheap but lasts for ages. It's available online from their website and others, as well as in department stores.
