I have almost black hair - actually i have probably 80% grey hair which my hair dresser colours back to my natural shade! He uses a semi permanent at the moment which lets some lovely tones through as its fades, roots get done every 6 weeks and colour pulled through every second vist to stop it being blocky. I'm really struggling to make time for the 1/2 day it takes every 6 weeks and was thinking of home dying. Really nervous of ending up with morticia adams style black. What brands would be good to look at? I used the root touch up stuff in dark golden brown and it turned out a lot lighter than my actual hair.
