here, for a night out

I quite like the look of it but I'm wondering on two points:

1. is it a bit too Monsoon Bridal; and
2. do you think it's lined and/or heavy and will skim the waist area, or is it likely to cling there and show the top of my jeans/muffin top.

I can see where you are coming from on Point 1) but I think it is really nice. If you are wearing with jeans I would accessorise with a gold cuff and forget about wearing earrings as all the detailing is at shoulder level in the top.

I don't think it is lined as the interfacing is slightly visible through the top at the back. Why not email them and ask?

The beading will add some weight and movement to the hem and should therefore prevent clinging to the waist.

I need it for Saturday night and I don't have any real chance to get to the shops before then so it kind of needs to be a goer for me to order it as there won't be time to order anything else (and I have no money to order things and send them back).

Other than the night out I also have a more low key night out (curry followed by pub), meal out with DH and childs birthday party (my child).

Is it too dressy for those things?

I love it. It looks like it would be flattering. I would wear it lots of places - it could be dressed up or down I reckon.
