either these or these Am hoping they look a little like the Acne ones I cannot afford or the Aldo Crisson boots I debated for so long that they sold out for good!

Hmmm not sure I would buy them. If you're after a pair of pistol a likes I can recommend topshop mighty boots. Can't link as on phone but I have these for day to day battering as well as the pistols and am very pleased with them.

Ryoko · 29/07/2012 16:47

They both suck

LouBolla · 29/07/2012 17:19

The tan coloured ones, in my humble opinion.

Russianred · 29/07/2012 18:45

Don't like those at all, i'm afraid. Have just taken delivery of the TS Mightys as well, having looked around for a long time at Pistol lookalikes and think that they are both excellent value for money and very, very nice.

Russianred · 29/07/2012 18:46

Here they are. Think they as come in tan if you're specifically looking for tan.

toomuchapplepie · 29/07/2012 19:43

Free delivery till midnight tonight too - be rude not to

lurkingaround · 29/07/2012 20:21

A nay from me also.
Def get the Topshop ones.

ruby22 · 29/07/2012 20:53

ah I should have been clearer at the start, it is the Acne Cypress boots I'm coveting, as can be seen here but as they're £460 completely out of budget. Which is why the lighter pair from tk maxx seemed a reasonable copy. I guess they're all pretty awful from your responses Smile is there anyone at all that thinks they may be ok???

These from New Look are nice, but they only do them in brown and black.

cahu · 29/07/2012 21:30

Ruby, I have just bought these... nicer in real life and lovely leather

ruby22 · 29/07/2012 21:33

Oh they are lovely, sold out of my size sadly or would have ordered them.

justasecond · 29/07/2012 21:55

I just ordered those thanks Russian, a good price, they look similar to the ambush from last season but are cheaper. Hope they will be comfy. I also had to order this jumper to go with the boots Grin
khaki jumper
Afraid I'm not keen on either of the tkmaxx boots or the Acne Cypress for that matter but if you like them get them.

Windsock · 29/07/2012 21:57

I had those to shop ones last winter when called ambush. Are so much more modern looking than dull knee boots.

mrsmopsmissingmojo · 29/07/2012 22:26

Being u want them for winter the brown ones will last longer. The cream will be v Hugh maintenance abs be trashed in 5 mins Wink

Russianred · 29/07/2012 22:30

I actually prefer them to the Ambush justasecond - am happier with the single zip rather than double and think they are more slimming on the leg (which I am in dire need of)

Russianred · 29/07/2012 22:31

Nice jumper, I had to order this jacket too, which is such a gorgeous fit, material and everything.

justasecond · 29/07/2012 23:16

Nice jacket Russian I'm going to investigate it further.. you are naughty Grin..I really seem to be drawn to khaki at the moment.

CointreauVersial · 29/07/2012 23:32

I'm after some boots like this, and prefer the tan/brown colours, particularly those Topshop ones - lovely!

But I tend to wear a lot of grey/blue/pink/purple, and rarely brown - won't they look odd? Or doesn't it matter. I'm not keen on black boots.

justasecond · 29/07/2012 23:50

Cointreau - I don't do black boots either, can look cheap. I got the tan. I wear a lot of indigo denim, with most colours on top. Don't think it will look odd.

ujjayi · 30/07/2012 06:39

ASOS Aggie boots are gorgeous. I have them in tan leather and wear them a lot. The angle of the heel takes a bit of getting used to. Look as good with dresses/skirts (either with tights or bare legs) as they do with jeans.

suburban · 30/07/2012 07:48

Have also seen the Topshop boots in the flesh they are lovely, especially the brown colour, much nicer than my tan ambush boots which on reflection are bright orange.

OP there are some grey Cypress boots half price here

trixymalixy · 30/07/2012 08:45

Just bought the ASOS Aggies in tan for £22!!!! Thanks!

dixiejo · 30/07/2012 09:47

I love both the TS and the ASOS ones, but how do you recommend these are worn? Do you wear them over skinnies (skinnies tucked in) or with trousers rolled up so there's a gap between where the trousers end and the boot begins? Or something else entirely.

I fear that, unless I get that right, I could quite easily look like an extra from the Achy Breaky Heart video....

Windsock · 30/07/2012 09:51

Ok. I took the tags off my TS ones. Then have slightly unzipped. Jeans flop in to them. NOT OVER or you look like lulu.
