I have a very very rare evening to myself. What beautification steps should I take?

Bearing in mind that this hasn't happened once in the past five years and so I need to make the most of it. I need a list so that I can engage in hard core beautification with my limited time!

I would have a bath with a face mask on, exfoliate and de-fuzz, lots of body lotion/foot cream/hand cream/face moisturiser afterwards, pluck eyebrows and then paint nails if time.

Yes, all of the above but tbh I would end up sprawled in front of a dvd with a big box of chocs Grin

and a glass of wine. But only after you have painted your toenails, or smudging will occur. Eat the chocolate first, it won't affect your painting skills Grin

I have just discovered that in a dreadful error I have managed to find myself alone in a house with only one glass of wine so that's not a good start.

I do have coconut oil though so could put that in my hair and sleep in it without DH here to moan. Do I put it on dry hair does anyone know?

Don't have a face mask but have soluble aspirin so might do that aspirin and honey one.

Right hot water is now on for pamper bath!

Yes, put it on dry hair and wash out in the morning.

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/07/2012 18:56

Have an early night. Best beauty treat ever.

Virgil · 28/07/2012 19:01

That's true. Ok no later than ten. Shout at me if you see me later!!

How do you make the asprin and honey mask please?

Virgil · 28/07/2012 19:11

Two soluble aspirin a tiny drop of water to dissolve them and a spoonful of honey. It's a great face mask (and very cheap!) Smile

Body brushing - check
Lovely long bath - check
Exfoliation - check
Sesame body oil - check
Eve lom cleanse - check
Aspirin face mask - check
Coconut oil moisturiser - check
Coconut oil in hair - check
Pedicure with feet now smothered in foot cream and encased in cotton socks. - check
Manicure - check

I might even go the whole hog and do the hand cream with cotton gloves thing that I just can't bring myself to do when DH is around.

Now I have half an hour more then bed. Smile

Even if I don't look any better I feel
More relaxed Smile

I am planning the very same. Just waiting for the baby to settle. Wanted an early night too...

Ooh sounds lovely.

Your DH won't recognise you!
