Can someone help me with shoes please? I'm clueless!

This is shoes in general - bad or what?

In the winter, I wear jeans, or skirts (usu. above the knee) with thick tights and boots. Fine.

In the spring and summer, what do I wear with my skirts? Ballet flats? With tights? I don't really do heels - I'm in the countryside, young children etc, need to drive!

When it's warm, I put on a pair of sandals or fitflops.

If I'm wearing skinny jeans, are black ballet shoes bad?

I have seen these ballet pumps which I like - black or beige?
And I like these sandals but are they too flimsy in the sole?

I don't like black ballet flats with skinnies - red or leopard print much nicer imho, and go with both black or blue skinnies.

Skirts - depends what shape the skirt is as to which tights/shoes might work best with it. Eg: I'd wear wedges or ballet flats with a fifties style skirt but possibly Mary Janes or even heeled ankle boots with a pencil/straight skirt.

Not sure about those sandals - they look a bit 'older lady going walking' as dd1 once described it.

Thanks- was a bit unsure about black ballets with skinnies. But still seeking the right pair.

My skirts vary, but tend to be casual- faves include a denim a-line from fat face, a straight cord one, and a flippy patterned one from fat face. They're all above the knee but not micro mini. I really don't know which shoes with them if i'm not in boots.

Sandals...will consider them when I get to see them and try them. I fear I gravitate towards older lady going for a walk shoes... Either I fight this, with help on here, or put up with it until I actually become an older lady!! :-D
