Does anyone with wider feet here wear FitFlops?

I wear a size 5 and can wear Converse and some Clarks in a regular fit but need a wider fit in most footwear. I have a high instep which makes it difficult to find things to fit.

I am suffering with pain in the arch of my foot and have seen FitFlops recommended.

I tried this type today www.fitflop.ie/products/walkstar3nubuck/# and found it a little tight across my foot. I tried my own size as they didn't have the next size up.

I am interested in these www.fitflop.ie/products/viabar/?attr=attrf6b9565b584ce8800da84dbce31fc274# as they seem to be adjustable.

Any recommendations?

It's worth trying the next size up. I'm usually 6 to 6.5 in shoes but need 7's in fitflops. The 'bar' is significantly looser as the sizes go up.

I wear them, I am a 7 and wear a 7. There is one style which has a bit of an expander on the bar - it has a buckle on the side ... let me see if I can find this....

These, I have them (and they're now on sale), look under the buckle and there's a velcro thing to adjust them ... also, whether they tell you or not, they do stretch out with wear ...

I'm an eight with an extraordinarily high instep. I wear these:

They are adjustable at the side and supremely comfortable.

My feet are on the wide side, though not super-wide - I've never had to wear any special ranges for wide feet.

I'm a bit of a FF fan - a 41 in most shoes, I always go a half-size up in FFs, ie order the 8s, and this seems to work well.

I have the Via Bar sandals in black and am pleased with them - you can adjust the straps across the front of the foot, and at the back, and I've found them really comfortable for walking round town a lot. Plus they look reasonably stylish, IMO at least.
