Hello all
I have middle-aged, mousy hair, with lots of grey. It is the most intensely dull colour, it practically sucks all light from a room.
I used to get it highlighted, for £60 a throw, then dyed, for £30, and now use Nice n Easy every six weeks for £4.99. However, I increasingly find that it's faded from 'dark golden blonde', which is more like a light brown, to brassy blond within a couple of weeks. By the time the roots need doing again, the ends are very blonde, which is not the effect I'm after.
I'm following the 'retouch' instructions to the letter, and use a 'colour' shampoo, so wondering what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas?
