Are 3/4 length trousers out this summer?

I have no summer clothes that fit (just had a baby) but have found last year's 3/4 length black skinny jeans and they fit fine. I don't really care if they're wrong for this year (better than my beige linen alternatives), but would just like to know!

If you've just had a baby and you can fit into any skinny jeans I applaud you!

I think they are (sorry!) But its how you wear them that counts, nice sandals and accessories and handbag. Way better than beige linen! If its any consolation I'm in post baby summer clothes situation too! I'm living in maxi dresses and maxi skirts, I got 3 for 15 quid in the sales yesterday!

I'd have no summer trousers if 3/4 are out. Good job I don't follow fashion!

Oh they'll do then. They'll be covered in baby sick soon enough.

I just carry on wearing the 3/4 lengths as I can't wear shorts (legs not good), but look just so old if I wear longer skirts. I think the baggy 'cut off' look is horrible, so prefer more tailored shape.

I'm in fashion hell right now and everyone wears 3/4 trousers. Accessorized with fake crocs.

3/4 length trousers should be out every summer imo. Sorry. Especially the loose fitting linen variety. I just think they don't really do anyone any favours. They make the short look shorter and the fat look fatter runs and takes cover

7/8th's are much better. 3/4's if they are wide leg or linen are a no no, but skinnies are probably ok. As is not on trend, but not off either iykwim.

I think slim legged ones look fine
