shoes for fat feet?

I have wide feet and I'm really struggling to find lovely shoes that are not really expensive.

I've been living in primark ballet pumps but the ones they have at the moment are a bit too narrow at the toe so they make my feet look a bit odd.

I'd love to have nice sandals and stuff. Can anyone help?

I have really wide feet and I find that Birkenstocks are really comfy and fit well for sandals. New Look do a wider fitting and I have had a couple of pairs of shoes from there. Cheap too!

SkinnyVanillaLatte · 26/07/2012 21:44

I think most toe post sandals are flattering for a wider foot.

Bear in mind, when I talk about shoes, I also need ones that cover my lovely bunions...

Evans do shoes and boots which are designed for larger women so are often wider fitting

I was going to say Birkenstocks too - especially the Gizeh style.

I have fairly wide feet and these sandals from M&S are amazing

i like these duo ones but they are stupidly expensive.

I am sure M&S do wide fitting as well.

wonkylegs · 26/07/2012 21:56

BHS & M&s both do wider fittings (although some styles are better than others) neither are amazingly cheap but there are some bargains
I also found that Evans sell wider shoes & boots. I'm a petit, short dress size 8/10 but have very wide feet size 4 feet with very narrow heels & large calves so buying footwear esp. boots is really hard. I got some great knee high boots from Evans which were really cheap - they do wide & extra wide fittings although they seem to have more larger size shoes than smaller ones in my local shop.
Here's some of their wide fittings m.evans.co.uk/mt/www.evans.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CatalogNavigationSearchResultCmd?pageSize=24&catalogId=33054&viewAllFlag=false&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=209435&beginIndex=1&storeId=12553&refinements=Shoe%20Width%7B1%7D~%5Bwide%20e%5D&noOfRefinements=1&un_jtt_v_refinement=category~[wide%20e|]$$$
Including loads of cheap ballet flats

I hate my horrid feet. Size 8, wide, with bunions so..... I buy from simply be catalogue or website, next and occasionally new looks wide feet range, also had some sandals from Evans that were fab. I wear birkenstocks and corkys flip flops and that is literally all that fits. A nightmare I am now used to unfortunately. Good luck

HarlettOScara · 26/07/2012 21:57

I bought a pair of Superga in TKMaxx today. I couldn't believe how comfy they are so I just had to buy them -even though I really don't need another pair of trainers at all--

wonkylegs · 26/07/2012 21:58

Sorry about the link my phone doesn't like it , go on Evans website & have a look

ggirl · 26/07/2012 21:58

fabulousfrancesca · 27/07/2012 23:53
