These boots from Dune. Very expensive either way, but I think I like them

Yummy! Just wear them with the right clothes ie. not boot cut jeans and a fleece!

EclecticShock · 26/07/2012 20:54

Yummy but agree not boot cut...

OneTwoOrThree · 26/07/2012 21:06

Thanks!

Have just purchased my first pair of skinnies in navy blue, and had these in mind to go with them. Still a bit wary of the skinnies as my legs / bum are far from skinny (despite being / fitting a size 12), but I need to bite the bullet and accept that looking a bit fat is better than looking frumpy in 'mum' jeans.

Just get your top layer right, and you'll be fine!

Blossoming - what is 'right'? Someone else suggested a long waterfall type cardi, but I thought that sounded a bit frumpy. What are your ideas?

Noooo to the waterfall!!!

Stepmumm · 26/07/2012 23:35

Ewww

ihatethecold · 26/07/2012 23:54

Nice boots you obv have good taste. Don't ruin it with a waterfall cardi
Go to Zara. They have lots of affordable normal cardi's

KandyBarr · 27/07/2012 08:35

Boots are really great. Step away from the waterfall cardigan. Go for a straight long line if you want to cover hips, such as this

TheBolter · 27/07/2012 08:37

Good advice on here. Boots are certainly yummy but team them with skinnies and a long line cardi

noddyholder · 27/07/2012 08:38

Love the boots am tempted as have similar and they are worn out I have had so much wear out of them.

Windsock · 27/07/2012 08:52

No like

imnotmymum · 27/07/2012 08:55

Look a bit mummy to me ... sorry!

OlympicTeaDrinker · 27/07/2012 08:57

No I think they are mummy sorry

Its that heal. Its far too sensible. Its the sort of heal I wear for walking the dogs only!!

sorry

oh and never ever wear a waterfall cardigan.

noddyholder · 27/07/2012 08:58

I wear mine with skinnies and slim jumpers o t shirts. They are a different colour slightly but go with most things. Also good with thick tights and mini skirts in winter.
