I am about to turn 40 and my parents would like to but me a watch along with my sisters to have something to keep. They will spend 75-100 I would imagine and is for being dressed up. I already have a white Ice watch for every day which I love but don't have an evening watch.

Due to too much going on both work and home I haven't had time to look and they are mithering me to choose one. Has anyone got links to some nice watches- just trawling through the watch hut now

I'd like a Michael kors rose gold watch - I think fossil do a nice rose gold version for £99. It's on the house of Fraser website. Can't link, on iPhone had wine!!!

I was given [http://www.watchshop.com/ladies-dkny-watch-ny4623-p99931417.html this DKNY watch]] for my 40th from my close girl friends, I love it! Very elegant but not too much

I second the micheal kors Rose gold one. It's fab. About 175 on amazon.

Fossil Rose gold one £99 and almost identical. Is beautiful too and closer to your budget.

SharonGless · 24/07/2012 22:18

Is it this one

Yes. Fossil one nearly identical too.

I have a Skagen watch - this one, really slinky and minimalist, and around the £90-£100 mark. It's great because it goes with gold or silver and looks much more expensive than it was.

Goldsmiths stock them too, or have a look on Amazon for cheaper prices.

CV - I love that watch. I think that could be the one!

Cv tried your skagen watch on today but it just didn't look right on my big fat wrists. I loved it though

That's a shame - can't all suit the same things!

What about a Swiss Railway watch? A bit more chunky, and was my second choice after the Skagen.
