Id like your help ladies. I'm at a loss for what to wear. I've thrown away a load of my wardrobe today, I'm getting to blank canvas stage.
This has started after my friend commented that I'm always pulling down my tops. She added they they seem to short. In photos I look matronly more than anything else.
The stats.
5ft 8 size 16. I have 36ff boobs, 32 waist and 41 thighs. I carry weight on the upper part of my hips making my bum look flat with a larger section at the top.
I've a very short waist and large upper arms.
I've a reasonably flat tummy, not totally flat though.
Id like to look casual. I like coral, bright blue, grey and skinny jeans.
Any pointers please?

Oooh I did the same last night - when I looked in my wardrobe I realised that most of it was 4-10 years old at least and it was time for a re-style. I emptied it of all the old/unflattering/frumpy stuff and there wasn't a huge amount left.

I hit the Zara sale today and found loads of nice stuff, 4 tops for seven quid each, some really nice navy skinny cropped trousers, a couple of dresses... am going to return some stuff tomorrow and look for a pair of boots as well.

I went for longish sleeves, oversized jumper type things. Am really pleased with everything and have several outfits now which actually look up to date. ALso got a couple of scarves - was a bit warm actually to wear one but I stifled on as wanted to test drive new look on the school run.

I bought some things in the Zara sale yesterday too! They have some great stuff and a lot of it is autumn / winter clothes.

I got chocolate skinny jeans with ankle zips for £15. Gorgeous. And three loose knit tops.

A lot of people avoid Zara cos of the whole small sizing thing but their large is 14 and x large 16 and I think they suit shapes like yours (and mine!).

Quickest way to defrump an outfit is a big scarf, shades, new ballet flats and a bangle or two.
