what shoes with skinny jeans

Can someone just give me some fashion advice. In the winter I wear high boots with skinny jeans and in the summer ballet pumps. Would it look ok if I wore high heeled sandals?
. Because I'm not used to it when I've tried it, itust looks odd.

I am sure heels would look great with skinnies as long as the top is quite baggy/loose.

Do you like it? If you do then it goes beautifully, if you don't then it doesn't. Simples :)

I wouldn't but that's because I don;t think that the look flatters me. As long as you feel comfy and confident, then go for it.

I would wear a high heeled peep toe shoe or similar. Maybe it's sandals I dont like on me.

Oh, and if I do wear a heel with skinny jeans, I tend to turn up the very very edge of my jeans, so that they don't stop on the top of the shoe. Not saying thats how it should be done.....just what I do.

That's the thing I don't think it looks right on me either. I tend to wear smart dark navy boot cut jeans with a peep toe sandal or wedge. But from reading the frumpy thread I realise my boot cut jeans may not be the height of fashion. It's just as I'm used to wearing them any straight leg jean looks odd to me and skinniest look ok with flats but as I'm a shorty I need the height of a heel.

I wear wedge sandles with skinnies if i am going out :)
