Two months after the birth of my LO. He is the most gorgeous thing ever,, but I'm feeling anything but. I have a Mummy & baby photo shoot this week and I need to do something! I've not had my hair cut for ages (apart from the fringe, which i do myself). So please help me with ideas :)

I have long, thick auburn hair. In its natural state it has a horrible kink (I do sometimes use straighteners).
I have a long, rectangular face with a small forehead - I've tried those sites where you upload your photo to try out styles and nothing suits me :(

I would be really grateful for ideas

Firstly, congratulations on the birth of your DS.

If you've got a natural kink, why don't you go with it instead of fighting it?! I have naturally curly hair (although I didn't realise how curly until I started leaving it au naturel). Mine's also very thick and coarse. I used to spend AGES getting it straight only for it to frizz or kink soon after. Now, I just wash, condition then comb the conditioner through before rinsing. I then run some leave in conditioner through while it's sopping wet, then bundle in a micro fibre towel. When I remove the towel, I just arrange it a little and then let it air dry. And that's it.

Just an idea anyway. Good luck with the photo shoot!
