MNers! I need help! Ideas for an Olympic themed party

DS (11MO) and I are going to a olympic themed party next Saturday. I'll be the only mum there and I really don't want to be a party pooper but I cant really afford to buy a costume and I work full time so I have no time to make something. Any creative ideas? I don't mind if I just dress one of us up but I want to make an effort (I really don't get out much!)

Could you just put DS in a small 'Team GB' T-Shirt (Sainsbury's had loads at the weekend)?

For yourself, either sports gear or a Greek-style toga with a circle of leaves on your head - home of the ancient Olympics?

Thanks! I love the toga idea, a friend suggested spraying/using coloured hair wax on Ds's hair in gb colours is that 'wrong' in your opinion??im tempted, DH thinks I'll win worst mum of the year award Hmm

For what it's worth I wouldn't bother with hair spray/wax but only because I couldn't bear the thought/battle of trying to get it washed out [lazy mother].

At that age I would have thought that anything red/white/blue would be fine - maybe some joggers and a t-shirt if you have it.
