Anyone else been to a launch party. What colours did you pick? I am in control (haha), passionate (hmm) and glamorous (LMFAO!)

I got drive, motivation and ambition in the online one...

I'm heading over later today to pick some up, as it's really hard for me to find good quality vegan cosmetics! Can't wait to give them a go. I'll be buying...

Bubbly lipstick (a rose gold, shimmery one)
Independence black gel eyeliner
Eyes Right black mascara
Emotional Brilliance translucent face powder

I already use a few of the lip tints and the concealer and they're fab so I have high hopes.

If anyone is interested I can report back and give a little review once I've tried them...?

Oh I'd love to hear a review. I'm currently using Benefit but need some new stuff and am keen to have less products in my products.

Spicysalamander · 25/07/2012 12:55

I'd be interested to hear how they are as I used to love the B Never to Busy stuff

Okay, here goes Smile I've been using them for 2 days now.

Disclaimer: I was majorly impressed but definitely don't work for Lush! Grin

Bubbly Lipstick
Amazing! The colour is fantastic and its super pigmented so you only need a little. The applicator works great for a sponge one, way better than I thought it would. The staying power is amazing too - I ate my lunch and drank a can of coke and it was still mostly there!

Eyes Right Mascara
If you want it thick you'll have to do a few layers and build it up, but for a natural day-timey look it does the job. The wand is really short but I had no trouble applying it - however they have longer ones for free in store if you're finding it difficult.

Independence Black Gel Eyeliner
This is hands down the best liquid eyeliner I've ever used. I do not exaggerate. It glides on so easily, normally I have to try really hard to keep a straight line but this makes it so easy! It also lasts and lasts and doesn't easily smudge. I fell asleep with it on Blush and the next day it was still in place!

Emotional Brilliance Translucent Face Powder
Again, the best face powder I've ever used. Blends into the skin to set the make up without leaving any residue. It also kept my skin matte all day yesterday, even in that heat! Seriously incredible stuff. I used it in top of Lush's own foundation so I don't know how it would work with others but since that's awesome as well I suggest you give it a go Wink

Sorry for any typos, I'm still half asleep. This range is bloody impressive. I was prepared to be disappointed but I really wasn't (in case you couldn't tell!).

As an aside, I also tried Intuitive Cream Eyeshadow ( a light spring green with a hint of gold) and Fantasy Gold Gel Eyeliner on my hand in the store. Their pigmentation is incredible too and the colours were gorgeous. They stayed on my hand all day so clearly other items too have amazing staying power.

No exuse me, I have to go die because of the gushiness of that review Blush
