What does a 29 year old wear to go 'clubbing'?

Haven't been out for 10+ years, don't want slapper/tart, but something fashionable. Where do I start?!

Keep it simple.. Skinnies and silk tshirt with heels or a black dress and heels. Don't try too hard with clothes and accessorise it up with gold hoops or chandelier earrings and cuffs.. Use hugely dark eyes with lots of black eyeliner and nude gloss on lips....

Where in the country are you going clubbing? And how classy - or not - is the club?

Apologies, I bought an outfit earlier

Went for some shorts to go over leggings and a chiffony type top, I don't know exactly where I'm going to end up but know we're starting outside watching fireworks, then onto a late bar, then onto a club, so tried to go simple, but funky-ish.

I feel so old!!

I do have a question though, I usually wear glasses, though can see ok without them, do I go with or without?
