Keratin treatment at home: my LIFE CHANGING success!

Oh happy day :)

I did the keratin at home treatment on Saturday last week, and washed it for the first time last night. Oh my godfathers - what an amazing result!

I used the kit from amazon (currently on at £28) and with my chin length/ cropped bob, I used half the jar. My bezzy mate helped me, and took great care to straighten it to within an inch of it's life. It looked amazing after application, but I was still sceptical about it remaining straight after washing.

Well, it is still straight. And smooth. And shiny. And pointy (got graduated length at the front). And it looks as if my highlights are brand new again, as the slinkiness shows up each separate strand of colour.

I am gobsmacked. Why didn't I discover this years ago? Love, love, love it.

GET IT.

Organix do one of these, I did it last week. Bought it from Boots. It is formaldehyde free. Did all it said on the box, even bought their special expensive shampoo and conditioner for day 3 when I could wash my hair again.

Was kind of impressed immediately after, though to be fair, if I'd straightened my hair so much with the straighteners without the gunk on it'd have been the same.

Is it straight now? Was it even straight the first day when I washed it? Is it shit! Crap crap stuff. Hair feels really bloody horrible and seems even curlier than it was before :(

LeBof, will you update and let us know how it goes?

I will- next Thursday.

I've woke up this morning with straight hair Smile I normally wake up with a mass of frizzy hair. I can't wait to wash it on Monday and see the results, it's very easy to apply, my hair is halfway down my back and it took me about 2 hours from start to finish.

Dry shampoo is necessary for the 3 day wait.

I'm re-doing mine again today. My thick curly waves are baaaccckkk.

PoppyAmex · 13/08/2012 13:29

LeBOF did you manage to do it? How did it turn out?
