www.hattonjewels.com/

Been looking for a while and was put off by the fact that they don't advertsie their address- though you can phone and turn up.

They have a ring I like and it's £1K cheaper than quoted locally for handmade.

Their address is on their contact page

Have shopped at other jewellers in HG but not that particular one. All better value for money than any high street chain.

Sorry- where?
Can only see Hatton garden.

Will look again.

Thanks yes, seen it- but I don't think it's just "them" there- but have emailed them to ask anyway.

Had hideous experience with two jewellers in HG. Advised me incorrectly about what size to get for my engagement ring (ie didn't tell me to err on smaller size with platinum as so heavy slips off more easily). Had to get it resized. Totally mashed it up in the process. Eventually agreed to make me a whole new ring, but even that was never quite right. Ended up spending tonnes more to get another jeweller miles away to make me a third one using the stones. Finally happy but cost a fortune, caused us months of stress and arguments between me and DH. Went into loads of HG shops while choosing original ring and always thought the people were slimy con artists tbh. Don't go high street either, go local independent. My family knows one in Hampshire we now used for everything. Some people rave about HG though.

I went and the first shop I went to at the bottom was very helpful. Said he wld sell what I had for me at my minimum price and warned me what the other shops would do and he was right.

I have a ring valued at 3,500 for insurance. Was offered between £200 and £300 for it.
