Bikini line hair removal.....

I'm having IPL hair removal done on my bikini line and the lady asked whether I wanted standard, Brazilian, Hollywood etc. I just said standard (cos I've never been particularly adventurous in that way iyswim!) but on chatting to friends today they said they'd take the lot off given the chance. Not sure what to do now! Guess I'm asking whether most people would take the lot off/leave a little bit for modesty given that it's permanent hair removal?! Am I being daft by only getting rid of the 'strays'??!!!

Oh I have a Hollywood wax every 5 weeks. I rate it highly no idea about laser though

I would leave yourself a little bit. You can always change your mind later, but not the other way round iuswim.

I wouldn't have it all off. Underneath and round the back, yes, but go for a Brazilian if you're unsure. A two inch width.

When I had mine done, the "standard" that was described was surprisingly conservative. I had to ask for something inbetween that and Brazilian.

Very personal preference, clearly, but I would have a Brazillian - leave a triangle-ish shape about two inches wide at the top.

When you're finished you always have the option If you ever want to whisk it all off with a wax.

I'd personally just be nervous about anything too extreme when you're making a permanent change - fashions change and things date and as an older woman you might be happier with a little coverage.

Thank you so much for responding, great to get other opinions about it. I think I'm going to do the Brazilian option (not brave enough for any more!) and take a bit more off than I first thought - she's going to do top of the leg and round the back too! Will be sooo nice when it's all done. Thanks again ladies for your input!
