Hello stylistas!

I need to get a new work suit or two, something that is well-made, stylish and on the conservative side (nothing racy). I'm a size 14. I have an old L. K. Bennett much-loved suit, and one from Planet, but don't really know where else sells decent suits. Do you have any ideas? Thanks! Smile

I bought some well cut pieces from Austin Reed recently. They were well priced in the sale too.

Jaeger, Jigsaw and Hobbs all good but expensive. M&S can be good. Maybe TM Lewin? Reiss is fantastic. I have mainly given up on suits and now just wear dresses but don't always feel they're sufficiently high powered without a jacket. Oh, and Whistles is good too. Everywhere really good is £££ unfortunately.

I just got a Hobbs one for £130 down from £300ish in the sale Smile

Thank you! Yes, true about everywhere good being pricey. I'd rather buy a reasonably expensive, well cut suit that would last a good ten years than a poorly made one that would last two years though. I gave an old L K Bennett jacket that seems to gave lasted forever. Having said that, a pair of my favourite faithful work trousers came from Sainsburys...
