Hello All,

I tied some lovely new black eyeliner last night - looked stunning, but can I shift the stuff? Can I heck! Although I quite like the smokey eye effect, it's making me look like I've been out partying all night.

Can you recommend to me your best eye make up removers please? I'm going to be dashing into Boots on my way home from work tonight!

Cheers in advance ladies (I'm at work, might not get back on this thread until later) Thanks

I like the BodyShop Chamomile one www.thebodyshop.co.uk/skincare/eye-care/camomile-gentle-eye-make-up-remover.aspx if you have a BodyShop on the route home from work? Smile

Bifacils by Lancome is the absolute best - the only thing that removes gel eyeliner and waterproof mascara in my opinion.

It costs a bit but does last a long time.

I find the nivea facial wipes work better than any specific eye make up remover I have tried

they even get rid of waterproof mascara!

gregssausageroll · 18/07/2012 13:50

The best I have tried and I have tried a lot is the clarins one you need to shake to mix.

laracroft2001 · 18/07/2012 13:51

Bifical by Lancôme 100% is amazing. And a little tip to make it last longer (as its £21) is to wet your cotton pad first before putting Bifical on.. U then use a lot less.

Baby oil.

Couple of drops on your finger rubbed over the eye area gently gets everything off.

I wipe it off with loo roll.

I have recently discovered if you use LIz Earle's toner or The Body Shop organic toner it works as the best remover ever. Bizarre but true!

MissFoodie · 18/07/2012 16:47

coconut oil

cybbo · 18/07/2012 16:47

Baby oil but with cotton wool pad, not scratchy loo roll!

MissFoodie · 18/07/2012 16:48

otherwise Melvita do a silicone free liquid one that removes waterproof mascara

Clinique take the day off is the best I've ever used. Whilst it's not cheap, you don't need much and it lasts for ages. I watch out for Boots/John Lewis/Debenhams/house of fraser having one of those "buy two Clinque products and get a goody bag full of other products" offers on.

DashingRedhead · 18/07/2012 16:53

Oil of Olay 7-in-1. Moisturises as well.

Itdidntworkout · 18/07/2012 21:36

Clarins do one. It separates in the bottle, but not at all oily. About £14, if memory serves.

Another vote here for the Clarins Express remover - well worth the £15!
