The ultimate postnatal roll-down yoga trousers - where are they?

I'm still in the wonderful Sweaty Betty yoga trousers I bought when DD was born 5 years ago. They are plain black soft cotton, wide (not flared) legged, with a roll-down top that could also fit over my bump/section scar without losing its shape, were (in their prime) just about smart enough to wear out of the house, and are the most comfortable things I've ever worn. But I'm now heading into my third trimester of a twin pregnancy and if I keep on wearing them they will fall down as soon as the babies are out. I want to replace them and am happy to spend some cash as I expect to live in them for several months - but I can't find any. Here's what I have seen:

Boden - ridiculously flappy
John Lewis - these look quite flappy too
Sweaty Betty - v clingy over the tummy and thighs, and too sporty for everyday wear

Where have I missed?

I have some of these in black, great for post natal tummy, and I'm going to wear them to yoga when I can be bothered to go

I lived in a previous version of these throughout 3 pregnancies. Mine were slightly shiny IYKWIM but these look a bit nicer.

Congrats on your twins btw!

How about these Seraphine trousers? I'm wearing them rolled over the bump at the moment, but I anticipate them being pretty good postnatally too.

Never seen these in the flesh but they tick your boxes I think.

thereistheball · 17/07/2012 15:12

Thanks! I'm not so interested in polyester so the Next ones are out, and I'll look silly in the Hush ones, and the me and em ones are flappy - but the Seraphine ones look perfect. Thank you!

Cardicorgi - I've just seen the pic on the Seraphine website showing your trousers with heels. What I have in mind is definitely more of a yoga/Pilates pant than an actual trouser. Are they super-comfy?

I love my Hush yoga trousers. I am 8.5 months with DC3, and still wearing them, and will get some fresh ones post-birth. They are fine to wear with runners out and about.

chocolatecrispiecake · 17/07/2012 16:43

Gossypium ones are very comfy. I also have some Mothercare ones but they are quite thin and feel really unsupportive of my wobbly tummy.

CagneyNLacey · 17/07/2012 16:52

Cant link on phone but GapBalance pants are nice and comfy, roll up waist and not trackie-bottom looking.

MidnightHag · 17/07/2012 17:02

I have these Pilates Pull-ons from Boden; they're not flappy, just a gentle bootcut and they're in the sale. Smile

thereistheball · 17/07/2012 17:53

I did see those ones Midnight - they look perfect but they only have them in size 6 or 8. By the time these babies are out I'll probably be a 14. The Gossypium ones look nice but they don't have any medium sizes and not much Lycra - are they supportive? The Gap ones look good too - I usually get redirected to the European site (I live in France) and I hadn't found them on there.

Thanks very much!

I have these from gap and they are really comfortable and stylish. I wear them for Pilates and they are great

accessorizequeen · 17/07/2012 19:28

These from White Company?

CardiCorgi · 17/07/2012 19:41

The Seraphine trousers are a nice soft jersey. I have no idea why they show them with heels, I don't think I would wear them to the office. I did have to shorten them a bit but I am only 5'3" so they would probably have enough length for all but the very tall.

Pinner35 · 17/07/2012 21:32

These different ones from Hush are fab.
