Good places to look for knit dresses?

I'm 19 weeks pregnant and reaching the point where pretty much nothing fits. I need to buy some new clothes anyway as lots of my current wardrobe is ancient and tatty - so ideally I'd buy some stuff which is not maternity specific but can be worn afterwards as well.

I'm thinking knit dresses (either wool or jersey) would be good as I can wear them with an expanding bump and then after birth with a post pregnancy tummy. Ideally knee length ish rather than tunics as I am not a fan of my thighs (also they will only get shorter as the bump expands).

Can anyone recommend good places to look? I have looked at White Company and Me & Em and they both have a couple of decent options. Anywhere else I should try for similar stuff?

TIA

I was going to say White Company.

When I was pregnant with DS2 I got a couple from Sainsbury's. They were cheap, and didn't last beyond birth, but I wore them and wore them and they took me right up to 9 months.

I think the problem with trying to wear something like this afterwards as well is that they will be stretched. Having said that, the white company smock dress I got was great and also had buttons down the front so I could wear it while BFing.

I was in the same position last year and bought lots of dresses from Cos which kept me going all winter. also Gap usually have knitted dresses. You may have to wait a month or 2 though as I'm not sure they've got them in yet.

Thanks very much - yes Beattie most of the ones I can find at the moment seem to be sleeveless/summery (ironic given the weather) so I guess may need to wait a bit. good tip on Cos I had forgotten them.

Ali good point, I think I would probably have to switch to cheapo maternity clothes "proper" for the largest stage so as not to stretch these nicer dresses too much...
