either a lotion etc that get rid of them?? or hides them effectively. since having dd they have got a lot worse. I have no7 conceler at the moment but I have to put a ton on and they're still noticeable.

touche eclat - Yves Sain Laurent

RedRidingHood · 03/03/2006 20:33

agree lalaa - pricey but nothing else is as good

edam · 03/03/2006 20:35

agree touche elcat - originally recommended by a TV make-up artist. If it's good enough for her to use for her job... There's a Christian Dior version which is slightly cheaper if you want to save a quid or so.

expatinscotland · 03/03/2006 20:35

Touche eclat is a rip off, IMO. The No. 7 stuff is just as good, if you ask me.

Radley · 03/03/2006 20:35

This is not a make up, but, to help ease dark circles, put on mashed banana for 5-10 minutes every other night. Sometimes dark circles are not due to tiredness alone, stress, worry or even dehydration can make them worse.

Bagpuss30 · 03/03/2006 20:36

touche eclat - I agree.

brimfull · 03/03/2006 20:42

touche eclat always works for me.

but will look out for the no 7 one expat,as I do hate paying for touche eclat.Although online it's only £14.99

Radley · 03/03/2006 20:53

Avon also do a version of touche eclat which is supposed to be fantastic.

me23 · 03/03/2006 20:56

thanks girls, I already have the no7 one it cost my £12 and it doesnt work well for me, will have to try ysl, are there any products out there that will make them fade slightly? or is the only option to cover them up?

anteater · 04/03/2006 11:46

Always use my dps Clarind eye gel, takes 5 years off in 5 mins!! (she does not know this and kids often get blame for any loss of said $$creamGrin)

drosophila · 04/03/2006 11:52

I was all set to buy Touche Eclat when the sales assistant told me that the Christian Dior one was better. I used both in ths shop and the Dior one was defo the best (for my colouring anyway). I have terrible dark circles and it does make a big difference. The trick is to use it as close to the eye as you can and to do all around the eye even the lid and especially the corner.

I am also trying the Olay eye cream which is pretty good.

anteater · 04/03/2006 12:07

Clarins that should say..bloody cream in my eyes this morning!

me23 · 04/03/2006 12:36

hazelnut the boots no7 one is called instant radiance conceler.

think I may have to go get a few samples see which one works best for me.

need an eye cream aswell, will have a look at the clairns one.

So I gues no-one has found anything that actually gets rid of them, or lessens them rather than just covering them up? Sad

SleepySuzy · 04/03/2006 14:44

Avon do one, it's really cheap, but I can't remember what it's called, and I have heard it works.

I'll try and find the name...

SleepySuzy · 04/03/2006 14:50

It's called "Lighten Up"

thanks me23 ! Will try it out before investing in the YSL !

Tinker · 04/03/2006 18:32

Am tempted by cheap Touche Eclat but what shade is no 1 - is that light skin tone or dark?
