Is this stylish or have I turned into a frump?

I really like it BUT I am probably a frump... Grin I can only see the olive one though, not the red? And the price tag makes my eyes water slightly...

Erm, well it's not ' frumpy' per se, but is simply an expensive waterproof jacket - am sure it is excellent quality at that price - would be fine over jeans and with welly's! I couldn't imagine it with anything else, so wouldn't call it stylish - which suggests something more fashion orientated.

I really like it too tho ouch at the price!
Celtic Sheepskin do a very similar one at half that price, can't link as not on my pc but look under women's outerwear

Bit pricey for a cagoule.

PetiteMum · 16/07/2012 00:12

Hmmm.... Quality is really good, will last years.. That's my justification anyway! I never wear 'country' style clothing so no idea why I'm so attracted to it! Still undecided!

A few John Partridge coats at TK Maxx that are much cheaper.

It is functional not stylish or frumpy. If it suits your lifestyle then go for it!

Barbour do a nice jacket, quileted but tailored at the waist and belted.

I've seen other women wearing them and they looked smart.

PetiteMum · 16/07/2012 21:36

Hmm.... Dont quilted jackets make one look bulky? I've never tried one on for fear I will look a size bigger than I am! Perhaps I am mistaken?
