Little bag or purse for 5 year old

My 5 year is going to her first school disco. They are encouraged to bring money to buy food and drink as part of their learning experience . She is probably going to wear a dress with no pockets . She has a purse but nowhere to keep it. Can anyone recommend a little bag. It will have to be my husband who buys it.

I remember my DD's having a little beaded purse on a long across body strap....Claires may have some or this from Monsoon?

Cath Kidston?

Dd who is 6 loves her cath kidston bag. Its an oilcloth one with a king strap so she can wear it across her body. I think the bag was £12 and the matching purse was £4.
She also has some small ones from h&m but no matching purse which she tells me is essential!

My 6yo loves a bit of matchy-matchy.

DD has now said she wants to wear a certain top that has a big pocket, just the right size for a purse :)
Think we still need to get a bag though.

Thinking about it, I think the purse will fall out and we don't want that drama.

I am just not sure I can trust DH to sort it out though...

Go to the kids section of H and M and you should be able to pick up something cheap and lovely that your DD will adore it!

H&M, M&S, Next, all do little girls handbags. Dd who is 5 got one with a long strap from Clarks, she wears it across her body, very cute.

Thank you. DH and DD went to Accessorize and Calire's today and couldn't find anything. I'm going to have to get into town myself now.
