I'm on the hunt for a specific kind of bra!

It's for a dress with a very low back. I need a bra which essentially has no back strap at all because even clear plastic/nude ones show. The only thing I've found is www.marksandspencer.com/Strapless-Stick-On-Adhesive-Bra/dp/B003G5KS80 though it doesnt look terribly supportive. Has anyone tried one of these or could possibly suggest an alternative? I'm only a 32B/C but I still want something that will hold me up and give me a good shape iykwim.

I'd appreciate all suggestions!

What about those ones where you get the straps over the shoulders but not across your back - they kind of go around your waist - more for halter neck I suppose.... I'm a leetle (ahem Blush) larger than you and have worn the type you describe and it was fine but my dress was quite tight and fitted. Hth...?

Thanks woof, could you link me to an example, please?

have you considered a basque or body? they often have very low backs?

OhEmGee24 · 13/07/2012 14:20

Hmm I haven't no. But when I say low back I mean veryyy low, like 3" above my bum!

I've used the adhesive ones and they're fine!

I have one of the ones you linked to!

Great for all those challenging dresses, and surprisingly comfortable.

Also, being somewhat challenged on the cleavage front, I find that by sticking the cups on quite far apart, I can then hoike (is that a real word or did I just make it up?) them together and clip the cups together, and ... voila, cleavage!

4amin - Grin I'm desperado for a bit of cleavage. Breast feeding has left me with stupid little things. Result, thanks!

Op, I can't do a link as an on phone but if you go onto the m&s website it's called a ultimate multiway bra. Although if the dress comes to a whisper above your bum then or probably won't do. They do that other backless strapless thing as well tho!

Debenhams has the wonderbra that does up 100 different ways. One of them is that low back thing were they cross your lower back in a v shape. comes with a set of different straps too 9must keep instructions)

It's £8.70 down from £29.
