I live in a forrin land where it's hot all year and I need lots of summer clothes but the the shopping is expensive and utterly pants. unless you live in Gucci, Prada or an abaya which I do not. I've been wet-dreaming for 10 months of coming home for summer and hitting the sales, and boy have I hit the sales.
Disclaimer: before you judge just remember I am very old (46) an hourglass shape, a bit too short, a bit too fat, and with legs that should not be shown above the knee in public.

and again because it's so useful it's worth buying in both colours
and a skirt version in coral it looks crap in that picture but it is perfect summer wear with a t-shirt and flip flops.
Are you sensing a theme here? I know what suits me and I stick to it.
haters of White Stuff/Boden et al look away now but these things are so comfy and useful and easy and they suit me
and again in another colour
And there was another dress from M&S that is so delicious I could eat myself in it and it only cost TWENTY ONE OF YOUR ENGLISH POUNDS but it's not on the website so I can't show you.
And there was more - a couple of useful casual skirts and cardigans, and a gorgeous wafty kaftan/maxi dress from Episode that helps me channel my inner Margot, but I can't find them to show you.
And five, yes FIVE pairs of shoes at an average price of about £25, all half price.
Two pairs of groovy, chunky, platform suede wedges in turquoise and royal blue, some classy, white strappy sandals with stacked high heels, coral strappy flats, and gold beaded strappy flats. And they go with almost everything I've bought.
Happy Happy me. I'm so happy I could burst.
