Are short-sleeved shirts for boys the height of uncool?

My eight-year-old son has, in true eight-year-old boy fashion, fallen out of a tree and broken his arm! After negotiating a couple of t-shirts around the plaster-cast, which he is now stuck with for a month, I helped him on with his short-sleeved school shirt this morning and realised just how much easier it was to negotiate.

So I'm looking for a couple of cheap and cheerful non-school short-sleeved shirts as school will shortly be out. Online or real life, I'm not bothered. I've tried all the normal outlets I can think of and all they have for boys in his age range is long-sleeved shirts ... has anyone seen any anywhere?

Thanks!

Next and m&s sell them x

Tesco, Asda etc.

primark? depends on your priciples, as i know a lot won't shop there, but for a temporary solution to see you over his broken arm, they have them. If you buy from next, the sale starts saturday so if you can wait and go into store instead of buying now, it might be worth it.

Thanks all. I've trawled through both M&S and Next websites and not found anything in short-sleeved. (Apart from one fairly nasty one in the M&S sale!). A lot of what look like short-sleeved ones are actually long-sleeved ones rolled up, and the rolled up bit is tricky to get over the cast.

No Primark or Asda here. Happy to try Tesco, but it's a bit out of the way, so I'd like to be sure! Anyone seen any in Sainsburys?

debenhams
Also John Lewis have a few but they're £16

Thanks Downby, I found those too, and will go with that if need be, but they're a bit, well, white! He may as well be wearing his school shirt. (And as a seasoned eight year-old tree climber, he's not great at keeping his whites milky white!).

I've realised I'm being more picky than I set out to be, sorry!

Ooh, Debenhams a good call, good selection there! :o

Ah, but most out of stock in the right sizes ... (maybe there's lots of eight and nine-year-old boys falling out of trees at the moment!)
