What shoes would you wear with this dress?

I bought this lovely dress in the Monsoon sale because I have two christenings and a wedding to attend this month. I thought maybe some plain white strappy sandals, but after spending hours in the shops today apparently they don't exist (unless I'm prepared to pay a fortune for 'bridal' ranges )

I'll admit, I'm a compleye fashion dunce, what else would go with it?

ProcrastinationAteMyMorning I think I have misinterpreted the question as "what I would wear with the dress" I would consdier said shoes and bag an investment as they would go with almost everything/ thats what I tell DP anyway

House of Fraser and all dept stores sales are on and I had a good look the other day when in town - was killing time, but couldnt find a pair that I loved.

There are lots of lovely coloured shoes and plenty of nude in different styles, lots of strappy sandals too, but nude would work with most outfits.

I'm really rubbish at this, thank you! Yummy those shoes are fab, but I can just imagine their faces when I enter their shop with my single crisp £20 note

I would go for the nude shades as they can be matched to anything and it is said that they lengthen the leg.

I don't think yellow goes with that dress. I think white would be too much as well. I think you need nude shoes and perhaps a coral bag if you can find one; nude if you can't. Have a look in New Look - am always surprised at how nice their shoes are - and buy for dd in there sometimes. Personally I also think that dress would look nice with ballet flats - could get away with white I think but nto with a white bag.

Ok Ladies, you've all been really helpful, some of these colours would never have occured to me. I have bought these shoes with this bag. I've left the tags on so can return if you think they don't go! Trawled the town and the retail parks the past couple of days, lost the will to live, then gave up and went to my local Matalan up the road!

They will look great with the dress and will also look great with jeans.

Thank you Yummy didn't think of that! Was only this morning I was dispairing (sp?) of my usual boring SAHM uniform of jeans plain tops and flats! Might be able to glam up after all!
