School skirt mania!!!

Ok, so i have a funny body shape but i found a school skirt eventually which is a tube kinda shape.

It is the right length (in our school policy) but i got badly told off for 'wrong frabic' apparently stretchy is not appropriate!!!! What do you think??? Are there any suggestions for unstretchy tube school skirts or suitable but sort-of-fashionable ones (link please)??? Thnx

Are you sure that you're posting on the correct site for such fashion questions? Does the school policy actually have anything in it that indicates what material is appropriate and that, in particular, stretchy is not OK?
