Festival chic for (newly) 37yo with post-gallbladder surgery overhang...

And associated energy levels.

Hating Jeans right now but loving denim jacket. Wanted red chiffon pleated maxi to wear but can't stretch to halston prices, more like M&S tbh. Just lost 4stone, loving experimenting with new figure (14-16) but at a loss for this?

What can I wear?

Oh, am picky too:
No black
Am clear winter colours, love all the brights, hate pastel or sludge neutrals
Able to wear leggings if weather dire
Will be going for lunch in London beforehand so need to feel nice

Purty please?

My festival chic this year involves thermals, head to toe Gore-tex and Muck Boots.

What festival is it ? Even if it's in London, you will need sturdy footwear, waterproofs and something warm. Leggings under chiffon probably isn't going to cut it.

I know, but it's wishful thinking on my part. Ok. Got to man up and embrace the gore tex. on the plus side, lots of pockets for bags of wine Grin. Tis hard rock calling, se festival lite admittedly, but as close as I get since Glastonbury 11 years ago.

I would do leggings, layers if necessary under nice print dress, scarf, big boots, bright red lipstick, and then the Goretex Smile

Thats pretty much my festival staple outfit. Maxi will be rubbish in the rain and trail in mud (and portaloos)

Had gallbladder out myself couple of months ago: it's excitingly be able to go out for lunch without worrying, isn't it?
