Does organic/natural hair spray exist?

It occurred to me as I sprayed my 8 yr old dd's ballet bun copiously with Elnett the other day (last ballet lesson before the holidays) that she is probably inhaling all sorts of nasty chemicals in the process.

And as she will be starting two ballet lessons per week next academic year, I will be doing this on a regular basis.

Can anyone please recommend a natural hair-spray that actually works please, if such a thing exists?

sanguinechompa · 09/07/2012 22:01

Thanks Cherifroufrou sounds good and wholesome, but I risk getting reported to social services Grin

yeah my mum insists it leaves a lovely shine once it dries and goes hard and that the smell evaporates once its dry

she tried to get me to try it once and was annoyed that I washed it out Grin - yuck!

Naked Body Care do a range of natural hair products. I've used many of them and found them very good. If you google you should find them-can't link as on phone! They are reasonably priced too!

sanguinechompa · 09/07/2012 22:17

Thanks DozensofPichu will be checking that range out!

(Partly depends on which brand will deliver to Belgium.)

Just happy to know there are some choices out there and such a product exists!

This lavera one might be good to try, free delivery fro this site too. I've not used it but use their other products which I have found to be really good and are one of my favourite natural/non toxic brands.

Thanks Cakeholic!! Looks like a really good website - they deliver here too!!

Fantastic Smile I use the site a lot and can really recommend them

economymode · 11/07/2012 08:55

I was going to suggest Naked, too. I prefer not to shower my hair, and body in general, in chemicals and am a fan of their range.

Thank you again everyone!! Really appreciate all the advice!!
