What do we think of these shoes?

Sorry bit boring, I've a wedding to go to this month, I'm wearing a dress I already have, and need shoes to go with. Dress is 50s prom style, cream background with blue, black and beige spots allover, already got a blue wrap & fascinator to wear, now just need the shoes.

I've been looking for far to long, and have finally found these, but not sure if they're hideous. Please be honest!

Depends on the colouring and level of detail of the rest of your outfit TBH. Could you link to the bits / post a photo?

Right it's this one (the spotty one).

Can't find link for fascinator, but its just a load of blue feathers on a headband really. Wrap is just plain blue, same blue as spots in dress.

M&S do some great vintagey shoes but mainly in black it seems, probably not so handy with blue cover-up and hat. these are very similar to the DP ones but slightly more vintagey and a bit less - which might be handy if there's a lot of detail in the dress.

these?

That's nice! Black shoes and a cream bag would be great. these or these might work very nicely, less likely to get wrecked by mud too.

Ooh, the M&S peep toe wedge are gorgeous! Also love the Debenhams ones, but in this weather, perhaps best to go for the darker colour.

ProcrastinationAteMyMorning · 09/07/2012 16:49

They are aren't they. also in ivory

Pootles2010 · 10/07/2012 08:58

I do like those wedges, thanks! Tbh hadn't really thought of black, but the b&b we're staying at is a farmhouse, so maybe ivory isn't the best idea! Do you really think I can get away with black at summer wedding?

It's only the shoes! Your dress is beautifully colourful, and your bag and fascinator are blue, so it will look perfect!

What she said! and they're sandals so summery by definition.
