Can you help style this dress? Red cardy??

I have bought this dress to wear to my sister's wedding and I need some accessories. I'm SHIT at this sort of thing . I bought it because it unbuttons and I'll still be bfing DS2.

I thought perhaps a red cardigan? What shape of cardy would keep in with the 40s vibe of the frock and flatter a heft size 18/5'11" type person? And shoes - aargh. Red shoes = too much? I don't like big heels because they make me walk (and look) like a tranny

I think I'd go with black, rather than red, as there could be a bit much red with the dress (which is v nice) and cardigan. And it opens up more possibilities re the shoes.

I was going to suggest a neat cropped type cardigan. But then saw that you need to be able to BF, so this sort of cardigan (with a bit of fabric at the front) might give you a bit more privacy?

Pashmina? Works better with bfing than cardi?
