This may not be the right forum but bear with me as it is 'style' related but just DS's style rather than mine ....
DS1 has longish (just below shoulder length) hair cut in long layers with a fringe.
As it gets longer every time it's been cut the fringe has been trimmed and some shorter layers put in around the front (so he can see out) but now it's starting to look more and more mullet-like.
DS likes his hair long (and I love it on him) but I'm really struggling to find any picture to show a hairdresser of long, non-mullety hair. No matter how many times I vaguely talk about 'shaggy layers' and 'surfer dude' styles to them it still comes out mullety.
Any suggestions (other than getting him a grade 3 
)?
