How do I get rid of dark shadows/tired looking hollow eyes?

I've had dark shadows under my eyes for years, and I'm sure the hollows are getting more pronounced! At the moment I'm not using any eye cream, as my eyes can be a but sensitive and I'm using Bobbi Brown concealer, but I still think I look incredibly tired (I know being awake at this time probably isn't helping Wink)

Any suggestions please? Or am I doomed to look like a corpse for all eternity? Grin

you really need sleep, lots of water and fruit and vegetables.
try to consume things with high water like soups saladsetc.

do this for a couple of weeks, no alcohol or caffiene at all.

see if it makes a difference.

i really dont believe that creams can get rid of dark circles. wrinkles maybe but not dark circles!

hydration is the key as boring as that sounds.

I've got a bit of a coke zero habit, so I should really try and kick that I suppose. I have started a healthy eating kick earlier in the week so fingers crossed I might see some results soon? Thanks for the reply Smile

I have got dark shadows under my eyes too. They seem to be improving with more sleep/better diet. I know I dont drink enough and when I do drink it is usually tea so agree with previous poster that it is probably my lack of hydration that has caused it. Please let me know if you find a way of getting rid of them.

stimulating blood flow through gentle facial massage will generally improve circulation and the appearance of the skin, particularly dark under eye circles.

Using either a little moisturiser or better still some facial oil:

Using the pads of your ring fingers, press gently around the eye socket - just a second or two in each spot all the way around the eye socket a couple of times. This press and release technique is excellent for getting a rush of blood to an area.

Then circle the eye gently using the pads of the ring fingers again, starting at the inner corner of the eye socket, over the top of the eye and then beneath. Use gentle, barely there pressure.

Finally, some facial yoga: make a face like a roaring lion (yes really!) with your eyebrows raised as far as they will go and your mouth wide open. Hold for a few seconds and release. Repeat 3 or 4 times.
